 I have heard of "pranks" like this before. Every time I go on a ride, I always check to make sure my trailer is still latched before I leave to go home. I have never found it tampered with, but better safe than sorry.

I had the same thing happen to me a month ago on the way home from the Save
Our Trails Ride in southern California!!!!  At the repair shop I was told
kids and sickos are pulling the keeper pins looking for the excitement of an
accident.  Bill also told me he is seeing more and more of these kinds of
accidents.  I too was lucky and no horse or human was injured.  Please check
your rig just before you drive, every time.  Thankful you too did not have
any injuries.
