Maybe doable, but in the words of my husband: "Why?" Endurance is a
very boring spectator sport. I think we'd get people turned OFF from
endurance, not excited about it. Endurance is a sport that must be
experienced to be appreciated. Experienced somehow, whether riding,
crewing, volunteering or just kicking back at the trailer. Only then
does it have meaning and significance other than my co-workers calling
me "the weird girl that rides horses too long."

mini-DV cam-corder with A/V input. Put DV in fanny pack.
