I have a mare with allergies that swells in her throatlatch. When the
allergen is removed her swelling goes down. Usually is food(weed)
related. She seems to know to eat weeds when the trailer is hooked
up!
I have another mare that has a thyroid problem. Her swelling doesn't
go down without medication.
