My husband has had carpel off and on and
had it really bad a few years ago. He works on computer and "mouses" all day
long--graphic design. He puts a wrist brace on at night to sleep with. His
carpel would then repair with his wrist STRAIGHT (with brace) instead of bent
like most people sleep. This is the same principal in using a soft boot to help
repair plantar fascititis while sleeping. You need to repair/rest the wrist in
the best position otherwise it will repair itself in the wrong position and hurt
when you use it the next day. It REALLY helped his carpel and he rarely has
problems now, so you may try that.
