The main thing is to keep the breakover going so the horse doesn't interfere or cause himself to trip or be clumsy. We didn't encounter any of those problems at the ride this weekend. Chief has had difficulty with using just two easyboots on the fronts. If I put four on he does okay, but so far I think he has done the best with hoof boots in the Epics. He also did well a couple of times I rode him in Boa Boots. I think the Epics are more suited for endurance riding though. We'll see how he looks in another week, make sure nothing surfaces that isn't showing up yet. As of this morning though, you would never know he'd done a ride everything looks great!
