Re: [RC] Plantar Fascitis/type of foot pain - Barbara McCraryI had it for maybe a year, and orthotics, purchased from the nearest pharmacy that deals in products for the elderly and indisposed, did the job. It takes time to heal. I had the advice of the expert shoe-fitter and foot specialist in the store. I do not remember how it went with riding. I do remember how I came by it in the first place.....living in Uggs all winter. Uggs in the house, change to mud boots for outdoors, then back into Uggs for the house. Walking around on hard floors in footwear that had no arch support. PF is very painful, as you know. Go to a specialist in feet and get some good OTC orthotics ($75?) and wear them religiously. It took a long time to heal, but I'm fine now.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ridecamp Guest" <guest-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2005 4:46 PM Subject: [RC] Plantar Fascitis/type of foot pain Please Reply to: Skyla temposmom@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
