Re: [RC] Pedigree, etc. - Kari HanesHer name is Leah, so we are looking for a bloodline name to put with it. The AHA site let me do a search of all the horses with Leah in the name, wow, what a list! But it only let me search the purebred names, not the part-breds. We have her sire here and his pedigree but we would like to follow the dam's lineage for a name.Kari katswig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Kari Hanes said:Can someone who's on Datasource check out these horses' pedigrees for me so we can finally settle on a name? Any suggestions for names would also be appreciated. If this mare is an older horse that you have had for some time, I think it reasonable to assume that you have been calling her something. Why don't you just "name" her what you call her? It is perfectly acceptable to register a horse with the name that you are actually going to use :). And unless the name is already taken, there is absolutely no reason not to. kat Orange County, Calif. -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
