The trainer I have requires payment
in full up front.
He has a great reputation and has a
very long waiting list for horses.
I would not feel confident in paying
a trainer up front if I was not 100% sure of him. But then if I was not 100%
sure my horse would not be there.
I once drove 3 hours to take a horse
to a trainer that came highly recommended. I was leary of leaving him there
because I did not like the set up. Got up at 4 am the next day after a sleepless
night , drove back to pick him up.
The trainer was excellent but the new
place he was training from made me nervous.
