[RC] Hildalgo, Mustangs and truth - beth glover
That would be nice to hear such a story about the wonderful historical Spanish Mustang. Actually Disney filmed it using five nearly identical PAINT horses, which while looking cute in the previews for the tricks they could do, would never beat Arabians in a supposed 3,000 or so mile race. Look behind you for the legions of little kids who are going to believe that tall tale. Thats a thing that irritated me about the previews of that movie, one more instance of the Arabian breed being ignorantly bashed, which I get oh so very tired of . ( My Arabians and their ancestors have been in the United States for more generations than most people I know, and the ancestors before that came from generations in England, not the middle east---that's pretty American to me!!)
