[RC] Horse personalities - Budler,Cindy - Afrox

I agree with Angie- I have had 3 or 4 geldings with the most lovable
characters and sold each one on once done the background work
Why? Maybe they are just too boring?
I have found my best horses to be the  ones that are ornery and a horse I
would never like if I never rode it. My mare has probably the most "mare"
attitude of the lot- doesn't like people except when they feed her, has to
be reminded who's the boss all the time, not at all affectionate,
but I think it is precisely that aloof, independent,"I Know who I am" kind
of attitude that made her good. 
The others I love in the paddock and at home and they are great when at
ridecamp, but somehow they just never work out on the trail.
And you gotta like them on the trail - and often it is only on the trail
that you do like them :) But all that time spent on those backs and that
bond that develops 
creates respect and admiration and that kind of "non-gushy" love that holds
for many, many years. Just my opinion :)
