This works fine except that one can be sure that the French sub will not like any name proposed by another operating unit. The reasons usually do not make sense to Americans. Often the result is products are named something different in France. Yellow sticky notes are (or at least used to be) "Papion" in France but "Post-it(R)" everywhere else.
