[RC] speaking of scratches... what else could it be? - A. Perez... are there other similar disorders that are NOT scratches? My filly had areas on the FRONT of 3 out of 4 pasterns, just above the coronet band, where the fur stands on end and there is granulation on the skin. Does not look like other cases of scratches I've seen (front instead of rear, no pain, not cracking, no scabs, no hair loss). I treated it with a concoction of Desinex, triple-action-antibiotic ointment and zinc-oxide, but it did not respond. Since it is not causing her pain, and it's not spreading, I've been ignoring it for now. ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
