RE: [RC] suspensory ligament injury - David LeBlancJerry & Susan Milam There's a new procedure written up in "The Horse" where they are taking bone marrow and other tissue with high counts of stem cells and other growth factors and injecting this into the ligamments that are damaged to promote a stronger repair to the ligaments and even tendons as they heal. That is really amazing and I'm sure it will be available for humans as time goes on. I saw that, and it looked interesting. I've also seen a ultrasound chokc therapy used that can help. Worth talking to the vet about. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
