Nancy, Just got it in Nov. and don't know how i put
up with FM radio as long as i did. It drove me nuts trying to find a
station and keep it as i traveled. The commercials and the endless useless
chatter when all i wanted was some sound to get me down the road rockin.
Well, i ain't looking back. It cost about 200 installed and the neat thing
is you can move the receiver from one truck to another and you can even get a
house/barn base unit and let the music follow you. Its the best money i
have ever spent. I started with the favorites of R&R and one classical
but found on Sirius channel 38 they have a folk channel that fits my mood
now. The really cool thing is if you like music you can find all kinds and
even new ones you never heard and the Spanish music station is cool too.
Besides prayer, music is the closest i get to the divine, so its an important
thing in my life. I gave a unit to my massage therapist for Christmas and
she just LOVES it. Circuit City is who i went too and they had me rockin
in an hour and a half. XM or Sirius you can't go wrong and they both cost
about the same, tho Sirius does seem to have more sports. So, i'm going
forward w/ Sirius and never looking back on the relics of the past...AM/FM radio
is about dead in this modern world. tom sites
