RE: [RC] [RC] Ez boots or Old Macs??? - terry banisterDefinitely not the Old Macs. They are a real bother to put on and off, especially with the new gaiters. The gaiters are a must, in order to prevent the possible rubbing that can occur if that inner strap is too snug, but they are too tedious for frequent use. Also, the Old Macs do not last as long as the Boa Boots. The Boa Boots are easy on and off, and with the new gaiters, usually do not rub. If you are riding all day, especially iin soft, deep footing, you need to remove them once in awhile and check them for sand or mud, which can collect inside. But if you are not doing that much riding each day, or your area has very little deep footing, they work well. Or you can wait a few weeks and get the Easy Boot Epics that will be available mid-January. They are easy on and off, and so far, no rubbing or debris (they do not come up over the hairline in front). I am still putting some miles on these boots, but so far, they would be my long-distance boot of choice. Find files on your PC instantly with the new MSN Toolbar Suite ?
