I'd love to hear of some of your gifts from spouses, at least
horse-related ones.


Well, it's sorta indirectly horse related...  My Christmas present was a
down payment on a used Subaru AWD Outback to commute to work, etc., so
that I can spare 2000+ miles per month on the Powerstroke, so it will last
longer for pulling the horse trailer!  (Never mind that it spares the
frequent cold-morning starts for the poor diesel...)  And the $$ saved on
the difference in fuel and service costs will purtnear make the payment. 
It's a nifty little car, and I absolutely love it!  (We usually wait 'til
PNER and AERC conventions to shop for tack anyway...)
