Get a grip people - Karen SullivanY'know, one thing that no one has mentioned here is that kids need outlets in life other than hanging out in the street, doing drugs, getting pregnant, etc. Heidi *Heidi, I think all of us, especially those who have raised kids with horses, or grown up with horses totally agree here.....but again, to put things in perspective, those of us that are objecting are protesting the sub-school age toddlers that have participated in the sport. There are many ways they can be involved and enjoy horses without being subjected to the dangers of a sport where adults and fit horses compete. I don't think that many kids this age are in danger of hanging out, or doing drugs. Very young children can enjoy and learn about horses in more controlled and safe and appropriate ways.
