Re: [RC] Angry in the mountains of Idaho! - Kari HanesMary,Reading this really makes me angry too! A friend of my Dad's (State Trooper) told me that while riding my horse I am considered a pedestrian. At the time my concern was one of the neighborhood dogs being aggressive. If that woman touches your horse she is assulting you - as a pedestrain! You kept your cool better than I would have, I'd have kicked my horse right into her ass and faced the consequences. But then I'm part Irish and my temper has gotten me into trouble before. I would ride there everyday - twice a day if time permitted with a small tape recorder in my pocket. If the Sherrif wont respond call the state police, dnr, whoever you can think of. Keep a journal, document everything. Call your lawyer for some ideas. Don't let these crazies ruin your rides. Get a letter from the landowner and carry a copy with you along with the cell phone. Good luck and keep riding! A good off road trail is hard to find in these parts.
