I have a small solar panel and marine battery in my pickup camper that runs lights, radio, fan, water pump, etc. Not very expensive. Is there such a thing as a solar powered heater for a stock water tank? There are converters from AC to DC and DC to AC, what would be needed to run a regular small tank heater from solar? I know there engineers out there, plus lots of practical experience. Give me some ideas. I'm tired of chopping ice for the pasture horses. (No power out there.)
