Jeez I do that to my horse all the time.
He's used to it :-D He just lays his ears back, ducks his head and shakes
it :-D And if he's acting spooky about an object (he's really not that
spooky anymore but he likes to pretend he is), while his neck is bowed and his
eyes are bugged out and his ears are riveted on whatever it is, I'll make a loud
horsey-snort sound and grab his crest from both sides :-D He usually
doesn't jump at all, which is why I know he's really not that
spooky!
