In order to jump onto the horse, I first have to teach it to stand by a mounting block :) I've found that combining Anderson and the clicker is an ideal way to go. Break it down, go slow, be clear and you've got it. In fact, combining the clicker with ANY good horsemanship technique you use will get you faster results with a more thinking, receptive and less reactive horse. BTW, you can't do clicker training wrong. You always get what you reinforce. So, if you are getting something you don't want look at how its being reinforced.
