Re: [RC] lameness from poor fitting saddle - Chris PausWell, gosh, that's a wide open question, with no good answer. It depends on how long you rode the horse with a bad saddle, how bad the damage was to the horse and what you have done for the horse since this happened. First, I hope you have tossed that saddle. It's more cost effective usually to buy another saddle than try to repair the broken tree. Please don't sell it or give it to someone else. Have you given the horse some rest time? Has it seen a chiropractic vet? Has it been under a vet's care at all? Has it been on anti inflammatories? Have you had xrays done? I think we need a whole lot more information before we can help you, and really the horse will tell you when he is ready. Don't expect him to heal overnight. chris --- Ridecamp Guest <guest-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Please Reply to: ronald chapman switchbak@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== i broke the tree in my endurance saddle and when i got it back it rubbed places on my horse at the withres.
