Re: [RC] [RC] electrocution from tank heater - terry banisterI bought one of those Heated Buckets (5-gal.), thinking it would be great in camp to prevent his water from freezing overnight (does not heat the water enough to make it hot). But then realized it needs an inverter or something in order to plug into cigarette lighter or portable battery jumper, which didn't seem safe. Consequently, haven't tried it. Would it be unsafe?Terry "May the Horse be with you" ----Original Message Follows---- From: "Sisu West Ranch" <ranch@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Bette Lamore" <woa@xxxxxxxxxxxx>,"Jonni" <jonnij@xxxxxxxx> CC: "Ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [RC] electrocution from tank heater Date: Thu, 18 Nov 2004 11:19:47 -0700 I used to have an electric fencer that would trip a GFCI when a horse touched the wire. The newer ones don't seem to have that problem.
