The last two winters, we hauled water in big jugs to fill the water 
tank - we had few enough horses and enough time to do this.  When I do 
get an automatic watering system, this is what I want to get:

(Bar Bar A waterer, heat is from reserved ground heat, and the bowl 
drains in between drinks so it can't freeze in winter or grow 
mosquitos/algae in summer)

(I keep telling him it's only money :-) )
