[RC] [RC] [RC] Ground Control shoes - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Nicole z_arabs@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Gawd I hope this doesn't start people arguing over barefeet!!!!!! LOL! I wasn't trying to start the barefoot argument, by any means. I was just curious about the double-duty of using shoes AND easyboots. :) I'm by no means a barefoot fanatic. I think it's great if a horse CAN be barefoot, and not a crime if he/she can't and needs to wear shoes. I just personally don't care for metal shoes alone, but my way of dealing with that -- for a horse who needs shoes but doesn't have good enough feet for GCs -- has been metal shoes and rim pads. I'm just paranoid about concussion. I know, I know, zillions of horses do fantastic with plain ol' keg shoes right out of the box. My own did for years. Now I just like to look for alternates. I'm just weird. :) And, for the stallion, he really looks like he can stay barefoot. So, I'm just pondering the options of how to keep him that way, but protecting him on rocky rides (when he gets to that point). ~Nicole =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
