[RC] Joe Schoech DAL nomination - coloney

An unsolicited endorsement of Joe Schoech for Director at Large?

I met Joe for the first time at a ride where he was volunteering as a pulse 
taker.  He stood out immediately for his willingness to spend considerable time 
helping me with a problem I was having with my horse, patiently explaining his 
understanding and experience with different electrolytes.  That was not an 
unusual situation, as competitors in the Southeast region are accustomed to 
seeing Joe assisting ride managers while always being on the lookout for riders 
needing a little extra help.   

Joe is sympathetic to the needs of riders, while emphasizing the welfare of the 
horse.  He has an obvious passion for endurance riding and AERC.

Joe?s willingness to share his considerable knowledge and experience with 
anyone, along with his positive attitude and work ethic make Joe both a credit 
to AERC and an ideal candidate for Director at Large.
