This comes up periodically. Read rule 13
carefully. If the concoction does not have a performance effect it is
legal, but you are wasting your money. If the concoction has a performance
enhancing effect (a calmer horse that needs to be calmer is a performance
enhancement) it is a violation of rule 13. Rule 13 does not differentiate
between a drug, an illegal drug, a herbal preparation, or whatever.
Endurance is different than other equine sports.
