Re: [RC] western saddles - Alice YovichOne of the things that the saddle guy did was to shorten my fenders b/c my legs are too short for hte saddle. He did show me that with the fenders shortened, the leather has more swing so maybe that will give them a little more room.I talked to my husband, Mr. Computer geek, into helping me design a stop. I'm not sure what to make it out of though or how to wrap it. At 09:42 PM 10/23/2004, Chris Paus wrote: Mine is a western endurance saddle so the stirrup bars are where they should be. However, on a western saddle, the stirrup bars are quite long, so you could fashion some sort of "stop" to keep the leathers back where you want them. Shouldn't be too difficult. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
