[RC] ed - how to trot out - k s swigartEd said: no, no, i just wanted to know if it is allowed by rule to use my handystick, lungewhip or whatever, to cue my horse to trot out in the vetcheck. There is no AERC rule against it. I vaguely recall there having been some statement about horses not requiring "undue hazing" but this isn't in the rules (maybe the vet handbook, I don't know), but even so, I doubt that using a stick as a cue (unless you are beating the horse with it) would be described as undue hazing. kat Orange County, Calif. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
