Of the candidates I know of who have nominated, Joe Schoech (pronounced
Shay) is the only one who hasn't put anything on ridecamp. Don't know if
he plans to, but for those of you outside the SE, Joe is about as good a
guy as you'll ever find...the type you'd loan your best horse or that you
could count on stopping and helping you out if you had a broken piece of
tack in a race. He's competed well on two different horses, done 100's,
managed rides (the recent Talladega Multi-Day which drew rave reviews)
and he and his wife Tamra are always available to do the special meeting
for beginners after the regular ride meetings in the SE. Hopefully he'll
get a post on to tell where he stands on particular issues but if you
want to vote character, his halo is pretty shiny. :-)
