Re: [RC] White hairs, pressure points - martina keilI have a mare that has two white spots from improper saddle fit. I am now on my third attempt to find a saddle that does fit her. It would be nice to think a new sadlle pad could be the answer to an improperly fitting saddle. It would be the least costly alternative and more convienient. However, I feel the only way to really address a sadlle that improperly fits a horse is to find one that does fit them. I could be wrong and depending on the situation I guess a saddle pad is worth a shot. I am sure that in some cases a saddle pad could help, but it does not address the true cause of the problem, the saddle. Good Luck.
