Re: [RC] Arabians and/or Andalusians - Chris PausMHO is that Andies are gorgeous creatures, but being more Baroque type horses, they are a bit heavy muscled for distance riding. however, I've seen someone compete on a Lippizzan. I've seen someone compete on a TB/Clyde cross. One of the best little horses I've seen in the midwest is a QH/paso cross.. go figure! You can compete on any kind of horse really. It's how competitive you want to be and what your goals are. If you just want to do the rides and get your t-shirts, an Andie would work as well as any other horse. I don't know if it would have the stamina and cooling ability to be a top tenner, but I could be wrong... chris --- Elin Pendleton <info@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Has anyone done endurance using an Andalusian?
