On one of my work trips to Northern England, I stopped by a tack shop
and found this great vest. It is bright yellow and in big black print
has the words, "Young Horse." People really pay attention to that vest.
I'm not sure the drivers know what it means but they think it must mean
something.
When people ask if I was riding alone, I always say "Alone? No, I was with Dorika." Funny how many people don't fathom that. <<
You're so right, Maryanne. For me, one of the things I enjoy the
most about riding is the one-on-one time with just me and my horse.
I'm also really bad about riding even the greenies when I'm alone.
And where I am, I have to ride along the street quite a bit at the
start and end of each ride. I get yelled at a lot for being
stupid.
