RE: [RC] Fw: shooting for an endurance mount for next year - Melissa AlexanderHi Lori, I'm brand new to this myself, so I am far from experienced enough to tell you what to look for in an endurance prospect, BUT I can tell you that nearly all breeds are able to do endurance. Able to WIN is a different story. What are your goals for your first horse? To learn the ropes? To do 25s and 50s? To finish in good condition? You don't have to have an Arab or a specially-bred prospect to do that -- you just have to get a good, sound horse and put in the time. I would think choosing a horse you're going to love to ride is the most important thing.
