RE: [RC] [RC] bucking under saddle - Christina McCarthyWhen my 4 yo gets excited (especially in new circumstances), he can do 1/2 rears and "little"bucks which I correct and move him out. When cantering, he can also get strong (especially with other horses on th trail...old "race horse"mentality) and can behave in the same manner as described above when I pull him back or check his speed. I get after him immediatley and he quits the behavour. Is this normal for a green horse? He does quit the behavour and it is rather Half hearted (thank God) so I haven't come close to being oitched off. Any suggestions?Chris & JJ (who me? I'm a good boy!) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
