As you all know the Los Angeles National Forest has been closed until we 
recieve two inches or rain.  The forestry permit handlers have assured us that 
this closure will be tighter than it has been in past years. (Sometimes they 
have allowed the ride to take place even when the forest has been closed, but 
this will not happen this year due to extreme fire hazard and concerns of 
liability.) Unfortunately that forces us to cancel the ride on November 13th. 
We hope to bring back the ride next year.
