RE: [RC] FYI Llano Estacado Riders Stuck at Ride Site/Bring more than you need.. - Ranelle RubinAMEN to that..I once was at a ride that I had never been to before. I will not mention it, because it was my own fault for not REALLY reading the ride description. It said something like "for those of you who expect a fancy catered dinner after the ride, it won't be there"..well, me in my presume innocence fashion, figured it would be the standard burgers and hotdogs dinner...but NO DINNER..never entered my mind! I take full responsibility for this mind you, but luckily I always have emergency rations and can throw together dinner anywhere (a package of pasta, a jar of high quality sauce, and a package of chicken/sun-dried tomato/pesto sausage and we were set!...as we were staying the night, not pulling out like everyone else...only one rig besides ours was left in the am...Now we know why! It was a great ride in N.CA, that's all I can say!! Just know that anything can (and eventually will) happen.
