Be extra careful with baby rattlers. A guy here in our town brought home a baby rattler and was showing off for friends and kissed it! Well, it kissed him back alright, in the lip, and rattler babies don't know how to inject a small amt. of poison like the adults. It gave this guy a full dose, the paramedics are about 2 min. away and when they got there he was not able to breath much on his own and they had to intubate right away. They figure if they'd have been farther away, he wouldn't have made it! Do a news search on Yacolt, Wa. and baby rattler!!! What an idiot!
