RE: [RC] panacur question/ivemectrin - Sandy Terp

I have done this for years particularly with my babies.  It is just easier than trying to paste worm them when they are young.  I just pour it on their feed 1cc per 100.

Subject: Re: [RC] panacur question/ivemectrin

As long as the topic is wormings..I have a question. Around here many folks buy the ivemectrin injectable( for cattle) and give it orally to their horses for  worms. II think they give 1cc for each 100 pounds.  have not done this  as i find it a lil scarey to give an intramuscular orally..Anyone else know anything abou thtis practice?
Also thank you to the listers who responded to my question on the hoosier daddy ride. I am just realisiing how clueless I am :>)  lori  and ebony
