I was just talking to two horsewomen who brought
up this same subject of birth defects, and their information suggested that West
Nile Virus vaccine not only might cause birth defects but also cause
abortion. It might be worth pursuing with some experts on this
matter.
Recently I was told by a breeder that glucosame can cause birth
defects. I mentioned earlier this year that I had a foal that was born
blind (no eyes). The mare was on glucosame due to an old knee injury.
Anyone know information on this?
