[RC] horse transport - Jena WilliamsI have to second the recommnedation for "Horses of Course" transport. They shipped my 20yo Arab gelding back to me from North Carolina to California. I had been forced to sell him when the military stationed my husband overseas. As soon as we returned, 3 years later, the people I sold him to gave him back to me (Yeah!). Problem was, they had moved to NC, taking "Eddie" with them.Horses of Course were great. They took wonderful care of him, stopping daily, with a 2-3 day rest at their farm in the mid-west (Missouri?). They called me daily to let me know where they were, and how he was handling the trip. Made me feel like he was the only horse on the trailer. Of course they fell in love with him on the way. He is such a gentleman (24 now). Cost was $1800 3 years ago. As a off topic side note, he arrived Sept 11, 2001 while the towers fell. I knew nothing about what happened because I was involved with getting him unloaded. My husband called to tell me to turn on the radio. What a day full of mixed emotions, which I will never forget. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
