RE: [RC] [RC] Hunting Season - Mel Copeland

Not sure about signing...but for those of you who pasture your horses near hunting grounds, please consider putting your horses in some orange. At one time I had my grey gelding out with some holstien cattle. A hunter shot a holstien calf-claimed that he thought it was a deer. I went out that day and took some orange hair spray and wrote "HORSE" in as large of letters possible on either side of my gelding. I also tied some orange flagging in his mane and tail for added visibility.

Down here in Jawjuh some hunters shoot at anything that moves. A couple of years ago a hiker on the appalachian trail!
