[RC] Balancing Trailer Tires - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

In another lifetime, I worked for a tire company. Don't ask doing what.

ALL tires should be balanced if they are going to be going faster than a
tractor pulling a plow. You are not only saving premature wear and tear on the
tire itself, you are saving premature wear and tear on the bearings, seals, and
shackles and shackle bolts/pins and braking components.

There is also the question of how much you are rattling the trailer structure,
the HORSES inside, and all your gear.

If you got a NEW TRAILER from a local seller, I would go back and give them a
piece of my mind. While the damage to this particular tire is not their fault,
I would have serious words about tires not being balanced when trailer sold
new. What brand was your trailer- so the rest of us can be more aware?
