Wasn't John Henry his registered name? Wouldn't he have had it long before he was gelded if so? Seems I remember someone who saw him at KY Horse Park say he was cribbing at the time. I'd love to know what you'd have seen if you scoped him for ulcers back when he was campaigned. I have a bit of video of him at KY Horse Park and he was darned fat...so whatever stress he was under didn't hinder his ability to put on the weight later. It's a shame that when I say "John Henry" the only thing that comes up in my kid's mind is "That's the Breyer that falls down".
