I can
run an entire agility course with nothing but me and a dog (no

Then he is rewarded with whatever he likes at that moment.
Hahaha... I have trained a lot of different breeds of dogs and one of my
most difficult dogs to train was a Pointer. I was training Open (CDX) and
she was nervous and would not look at food or toys as a reward. I could not
think how to motivate her... then one day I figured it out. Work a few
exercises, then release her to hunt mice in the barn. Then back to work. She
worked enthusiastically because she knew she would get to hunt mice in the barn
for a job well done.
