Re: [RC] Trailer Safety Chains - lindapparabWe pull a lot of trailers and always make sure the safety chains and breakaway brake cable are hooked up correctly. Crossing the chains and hooking so the open part is toward the outside of the truck were two good points. Also, make sure you replace the breakaway cable battery when it gets low/old. Never easy to control if the trailer should come off the ball, but better to have "something" to help hold than the alternative.
