Most likely would be, but it is the horses feet and pasterns that spend all day in the wet mud teaming with fungus and bacteria. We do have a mare with a blaze and an almost bald white nose. Much to Wendy's dismay I call her "Scab". By the end of the summer her sunburned nose is a mass of scabs, though not as bad as true scratches on the pasterns/ feet.
