Re: [RC] reply to Bob Morris - rides2farI'd say "Hear, hear!" but you actually missed the first and most important step--FIRST, select a horse that is suited to the sport! Then do what Angie says... :-) I considered saying that...but then, I believe in telling people how to start with the horse they've got. If we tell them to buy a new horse first thing many will never start. :-( That said, my daughter recently bought her first Arab. He's 4 and green as a gourd. When we got him a few weeks ago he'd barely been groomed or handled. After a few weeks of constant petting tonight I boosted her up on his back. The look on her face was beyond priceless. It was total BLISS. :-)) If I could find my journal I'd write it down. As it is...I'll be searching RC archives someday trying to recreate a journal. ;-P Angie ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
