I do not find mounting in a treeless saddle any
different than mounting any other saddle. It has not been a problem for
me. I did, however, notice recently that when I mount (whatever saddle), I
brace my foot against my horses front leg. I think I have always done
this, but as I said, just recently became aware when I was trying to help a
friend be more successful with her mounting. One thing I will say is that
the cinch/girth does need to be snug, not too tight, just snug.
Sizing is only based on the size of the
person. The saddle fits most horses and this is the beauty of riding a
treeless saddle in addition to the comfort and freedom of movement afforded your
horse.
