RE: [RC] [RC] Tevis Ceremony & Tribute - Chris PausI haven't done Tevis and likely never will because of my fear of heights, so I may be way off base here... But I do know ride management and know it costs a FORTUNE to put on a little ride, let alone a ride the magnitude of Tevis. If a sponsor came forward for one of my rides (I've managed CTRs) and offered to foot the bill if I put up advertising, I'd have a hard time saying no. chris --- Erin Clutter <airwinbairwin@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: --------------------------------- I do agree, for even though i was just a junior(unfortunately pulled at last chance!!!*always next yr*), i did agree w/ yall wen u brought up the fact that tevis was sold cheap this year. it was very unfair. i did give a funny look to my dad(who finished the race) when the presented the buckle to sponsor. ===== "A good horse makes short miles," George Eliot Chris and Star BayRab Acres http://pages.prodigy.net/paus =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
